Stress awareness month: Supporting wellbeing through nature
April is Stress Awareness Month, a time to pause and reflect on the pressures many of us carry in our everyday lives. At Green Light Trust, we know that time spent in nature offers a calm and restorative space to help people reconnect, reset, and build the resilience to face life’s challenges.
your support makes a difference
This month, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and make a difference to improving the wellbeing of the people we help to support.
From 22nd-29th April, we are taking part in the Big Give Earth Raise campaign, where every donation to our Big Give campaign will be doubled at no extra cost to you!
AND, from April to June, you can vote for us in the green token scheme at Waitrose Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. Collect a free green token when you shop and pop it in the box for Green Light Trust.
Stress can affect every part of a person’s life-from their confidence to their sense of connection with others. By creating opportunities to spend time in nature, we help people step away from everyday pressures and build the tools they need to support their wellbeing.
Our Impact on Reducing Stress
Through our nature-based programmes, we support people to reflect, learn, and connect with one another. These experiences help build confidence, develop new skills, and encourage a sense of calm and wellbeing. Many people leave feeling more grounded and better equipped to manage stress in their daily lives.
As we mark Stress Awareness Month, we’re reminded of the importance of caring for our mental wellbeing-and how nature offers a simple way to pause, reset, and reconnect.
With your support, we can reach even more people. By donating through the Big Give Earth Raise campaign or voting for us at Waitrose Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, you’ll be helping us extend our work and make a greater impact. Thank you for your support.
