Introduction to the role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about people and supporting their journey of recovery. Your role will be to effectively work with partners and participants to ensure a seamless onboarding to GLT and will manage the participant experience whilst individuals are on programme and when they progress to further opportunities. You will work within a small, but highly effective team and will work across multiple programmes and sites. The role is predominantly office/home based, but you will need access to transport to access our woodland sites. Green Light Trust takes great pride in the care and support we provide for participants to ensure they get the most out of their time with us and beyond.



Key responsibilities and activities

  • Effectively manage a caseload of participants who have different needs, often multiple complex needs.
  • Coach and guide participants throughout their journey with GLT, ensuring they have the wraparound support they need.
  • Where necessary engage appropriate providers to provide additional support.
  • Complete risk assessments and manage sensitive data in accordance with GDPR
  • Monitor participant progress and maintain comprehensive up to date records
  • Contribute to GLT’s evaluation framework by collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Attend external partnership meetings to promote the work of GLT
  • Liaise effectively with referral partners and build up GLT’s profile across the area
  • Responsible for identifying safeguarding concerns and escalating where necessary
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure they have all information needed to run courses
  • Liaise with delivery team on participant progress and arrange for partner organisation visits

Probation period:                 3 months from start of employment.


Place of work:                       Work from home


Travel:                                    A full, clean driving license is essential, as the post holder will need to travel. The standard Green Light Trust mileage rate will be payable for the business use of the post holder’s private car.

·        Understanding of coaching techniques to progress participants

·        Knowledge of key partners within Suffolk across the VCSE and statutory system

·        Culturally competent and able to adapt your style to strengthen work around cultural diversity

·        Understanding of mental health needs including trauma and distress

·        Knowledge on wellbeing evaluation tools



·        Experience of working with individuals and families who are facing specific challenges which could be related to mental health, trauma or and engagement with mainstream services

·        Experience in delivering presentations and profile raising

·        Experience of working in partnership with providers and funders

·        Experience in safeguarding and managing complex and diverse caseloads

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written

·        Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach

·        Creative thinker, with proven problem-solving skills

·        Strong administration skills, coupled with a good eye for detail and highly organised

·        Proven ICT skills and confident with managing data, in line with GDPR

·        Demonstrate respect for all cultures, religions and beliefs

·        Works equally well independently and as part of a team
