Established in 1989 as an environmental education charity, Green Light Trust have now become a widely respected provider of wellbeing and educational programmes, transforming the lives of many individuals by using the natural environment as a means of engaging them in activities which improve their confidence, skills and wellbeing.

The people we work with have been disadvantaged or marginalised by society, or adverse life experiences, and need support to help them overcome personal challenges before they are able to move forwards in life. We deliver our programmes at our own woodland sites, at partner sites and at other green spaces across East Anglia.

What our service users say: Discovering the Green Light Trust was a lifesaver. Literally. Without the care and non-judgemental support received, I dread to think what would have happened to me. From my first day, I was made to feel welcome, safe, and comfortable, with no pressure being applied upon myself. The staff are more akin to good friends than employees of the Green Light Trust - a second family if you will.

What our staff say: You never know what a day at GLT will bring! It can be challenging, moving, enlightening, but never boring! It’s a great team to be a part of.
