UPDATE: 8th March 2021

As at 8th March 2021 we are looking at the safest way to deliver all of our provision on a course by course basis.

Current government restrictions allow for educational and care provision, and also an exemption to social gathering restrictions for up to 15 people attending support groups. In some cases these rules will still allow us to deliver our face to face services but we are committed to ensuring that we do so in the safest way possible, to protect our staff, volunteers and participants, as well as the general public. Anyone who is booked or registered to attend sessions with us will be contacted directly should any changes in arrangements be required.

Step by Step

Step by Step for vulnerable adults will continue but session attendance may be limited to ensure we can keep staff and participants in safer restricted 'bubbles'. Participants/parents/carers will be contacted directly regarding how any changes might impact their attendance.

Alternative Provision for young people with an EHCP

EHCP provision is still available for young adults referred to us through Suffolk County Council.

EARTH: Woodland courses for ADULTS

From the 8th March 2021 we have many EARTH (in-person, woodland-based) courses now scheduled. Please check the book a course page of our website to see what courses we have coming up. In July 2020, we carried out risk assessments and introduced safety measures to reduce the risk of Covid transmission between staff, volunteers and participants. Participants will be required to adhere to certain safety measures, such as social distancing and, as of 5th January 2021, the wearing of face coverings AT ALL TIMES. All of these measures will be explained by staff when commencing attendance.

EARTH for Children and Young people (Natural Alternative/Alternative Provision)

As schools are now open, we are running woodland sessions for schools that have booked places. We will make contact all schools and parents/carers with children who have previous bookings and we may be able to support additional places for schools with vulnerable children who would benefit from our services - to discuss booking a place for Primary age children, contact us through this page of our website and for Secondary age children through this page of our website.

AIR online courses

We are continuing to run AIR courses for people who are unable to attend our woodland courses, or would prefer to access an online programme. To see what AIR courses are available, please go to our book a course page

Forest School Training and CPD days

We are following guidance from the Forest School Association (FSA) and students booked or booking onto our Forest School Training and CPD will be advised directly of current training services.

Team Development Days for Businesses

We will be offering this service after 21st June 2021. To find out more and schedule in a Team Development Day with us after this date, please visit this page of our website
