Woodland Minds & Women's Woodland Wellbeing

Would you like to get involved in woodland and countryside activities and at the same time improve your mental and physical wellbeing?

Carry out activities at your own pace, with an emphasis on improving confidence and self esteem, as well as woodland management and crafts.

Days run from 10am - 3pm.

Types of activity include:

Tree & hedge planting * Formative tree pruning * Coppicing * Scrub & ride maintenance * Green woodwork * Hedge laying * Hay raking by hand * Making green wood structures * Creating living willow structures * Willow weaving * Botanical survey* Breeding bird survey * Woodland art and crafts * Animal homes* Bush craft (shelters, fires and cooking)* Whittling * Green skills*

We regularly run FREE programmes for up to 12 people at all three of our locations.

Lunch & refreshments are provided and boots are available to borrow for those who don't have them

Women's Woodland Wellbeing

Women only courses which have a very similar course content to Woodland Minds but are designed for those who feel safer in an all female environment.
