Fundraise for us this april through big give

22nd-29th April

Celebrate being green with your school, colleagues, friends and family…

For the first time, this year we are holding a week-long campaign through the platform Big Give to raise vital funds for the work we do and support we provide at Green Light Trust.

We are encouraging local schools, businesses and individuals to get involved and join the campaign to fundraise and have fun.

You can be as creative as you like, we love when people think outside of the box.

However, if you need some inspiration we’ve got some ideas for you:

Wear green to school: encourage pupils to pay £1 and wear green to school for the day. Whether it’s a green jumper or top or they go head-to-toe green, we’d love to see it.

Host a swap-shop at work: bring in 3 items from home you no longer need and swap them with your colleagues. Pay £5 to take part and get rid of clutter at home.

Organise a midday quiz: We all know about quiz nights, but how about hosting one during the day. Pay £3 to enter and there could be a ‘green round’, asking questions about the planet, our environment and wildlife.

Hold a plant-based cake sale: ever tried vegan banana bread? It’s delicious! Homemade goods are always popular for an afternoon pick me up, AND it’s good for the environment.

After you have thought about how you would like to fundraise, get in touch with us so we can help to support you: phoebe@greenlighttrust.org.

I cannot think of another ancient wood in Suffolk that has been converted from a declining wood to one in favourable condition… the work was carried out by such a dedicated and skilled organisation. They have achieved such high standards.
