OCN Level: Forest Schools Skills Award

This course is the perfect introduction if you're interested in learning more about Forest School teaching techniques or would like to work at an existing Forest School.

 What does the course involve?

This course involves 30 hours of outdoor practical and theory work, including:

  • Identifying woodland life
  • Using woodland as a resource for learning
  • Tasks to support pupils learning outdoors

 Who can take part?

This course is open to anyone with 2 or more years experience working with children - for example teachers, nursery nurses and LSAs. You must have a current CRB certificate to take part. 

How much does it cost?

This course costs £285 per person (subsidised places are available if you receive income benefits - please contact us to find out more). 

When and where does the course take place?

This course is run from our base in Lawshall, Bury St Edmunds.
