From Bury St Edmunds: exit Bury St Edmunds on the A134 to Sudbury. Go through the villages of Sicklesmere and Bradfield Combust. Turn off to Lawshall to the right, about 7 miles from Bury.
From Sudbury: Take the A134 towards Bury St Edmunds. Go through Alpheton. Take the left turn to Lawshall, about 7 miles from Sudbury.
Both routes:
After ¼ mile or so you will reach Lawshall Green, the first part of Lawshall. Continue on for a couple of miles. You will pass the Swan pub on your left, then the school and Church on your right.
It looks as though you are leaving the village at this point, but you are not. Continue up the hill until you reach a T-junction. Turn right at the T-junction. You are now on Bury Road. The entrance to the Foundry is about 200 yards on the left (just after the Willows Retirement Home on your right).
