Annual Networking Day 2010
Saturday 17th July; 10am - 4pm at the Foundry, Lawshall.
Once again, Green Light Trust is hosting a get-together for all WildSpace projects. And we're delighted to announce that this year's Networking Day will have a global theme, with parts of the event delivered in partnership with Lawshall's visitors from Papua New Guinea.
As part of the Community-owned WildSpace network we hope you'll be able to join us for this special event.
During the day you will:
- Hear the story of Lawshall's Global Kinship link, told by both communities
- Visit the 'Hauswin' construction project, a traditional rainforest 'Wind-house', being built in Golden Wood during the visit
- Have an opportunity to try your hand at traditional crafts
- Walk around Golden Wood
And of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet representatives of other WildSpace groups and discuss projects.
This event is offered free of charge to affiliated groups and £20 to others
