A Business WildSpace is essentially an inspirational natural area developed by a company in or near to the main company site. From concept to implementation and ongoing enjoyment; it brings many benefits to your staff, your company, your local environment and community.
In the past Green Light Trust had received the necessary funding support to enable WildSpace Leaders to develop two Business WildSpaces in Oxford and in Cambridge. You can read more about this on our We help your Environment pages.
Green Light Trust has in the past, helped to identify suitable areas of land, identify sources of funding available and helped with the development of sites and provided advice on appropriate planting and much more.
Each project was built around the needs of the company and the environment around the site. It can be a rewarding, team-building exercise and strengthens pride in the company and its qualities as an employer. Or the project can be used to challenge and develop a companies personnel.
Our programme for Business WildSpaces is tailored to help a company realise Corporate Social Responsibility goals. They are ideal opportunities to involve local schools, community groups, harness volunteer resources or support disadvantaged groups in your local area.
This is not currently a funded programme, but it is important to show what can be achieved, funding and resources permitting.
